Mina Akbari

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Mina Akbari, PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who began practicing with Tampa Bay Spine and Sport in the summer of 2026. Born and raised in North Carolina, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated as an Honors Carolina Laureate. She later moved to Miami to attend Barry University’s Physician Assistant Program, where she earned a Master of Clinical Medical Science as a member of the Class of 2025. 

Mina is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Mina enjoys spending time with friends and family—often traveling, attending concerts or sporting events, and trying new restaurants. In the Tampa Bay area, she also enjoys recharging with beach days, pilates classes, and walks by the water.
