Dr. Christopher Schrock is an interventional pain management specialist at Tampa Bay Spine & Sport, where he focuses on advanced, non-surgical treatments for spine and joint related pain. His clinical expertise includes epidural steroid injections, SI joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and occipital nerve blocks.
A Tampa native, Dr. Schrock completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of South Florida. He went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at the University of Tennessee, followed by fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine in Tampa. After fellowship, he joined the faculty at USF, where he continues to hold an appointment as an Assistant Professor and remains actively involved in medical education.
Throughout his career, Dr. Schrock has contributed to peer-reviewed journal publications, academic presentations, abstracts, and case studies. He previously served as Medical Director of the Chronic Outpatient Pain Program at USF and has provided care to diverse patient populations, including veterans at the James A. Haley VA Hospital, oncology patients at Moffitt Cancer Center, and surgical patients at AdventHealth.
Dr. Schrock is also committed to global and community service. He participated in Project SHOUT, traveling to Arcahaie, Haiti, as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team providing medical care and training to local healthcare providers.
